A vision was given, for a city that has been only know for violence and gangster rap. a vision that we today are being called to be a part of. Compton, CA has been put on the heart of many and for the last few years we have committed to part of the Compton Initiative.
I have been blessed to be a part of this Ministry in Painting homes and Cleaning lots, and now continue to be blessed in my love for Photography. let me share with you a look at our vision for Compton. and what it mean to just do good.

On the 4th of July we had some fun with Fireworks

And followed by the yearly Dirt Camp Trip where i got to hang out with 70 Jr-high kids and the best staffin the world.

We had the 2 year old female Baloo come say hello...

Spent the day last Saturday with Paty and the Kids, at a Civil War Reenactment. Had a great time and game me a chance to try out some Editing to the Photos. Hope you Enjoy them.

Sea World

Spent the day with my Girlfriend and the Kids in San Diego. Destination : Sea World! The girls got to spend the night there with all the animals and the Boys "us" joined them for a good time.

Had a great time, and got a little wet in the process!

Summer is closing in and you know what that mean... This is the last week for our Jr-High Edge Program. We celebrated the end of the year with our annual Talent Show, with something new this year.

I celebrate all our Jr-high kids. This year we set a goal to raise funds for our World Vision Kids (Rocky and Simfiwi) not only did they meet the $700.00 goal, but a extra $150.00, that helped provide 2 basketball 2 soccer balls and $1300.00 worth of Clothing for there school. To celebrate we had a monster Banana Split Party.

We had a great time at the beach, with all our Jr-High and High School Life Groups, to celebrate the end of our program. it was a beautiful day at the beach.

Edge: is where Jr-higher kids come to hang out with the Best Staff on the Planet. We spend time to learn about God and life application topics, from the internet to horning your parents. We hang out and play games, and for a handful its a time to show of what they got on their boards.

My Dear Friend and Photography teacher Julie Dirkse and myself had a chance to get some Shots of friends playing basketball at ERC. this was my first time shooting Fast Moving Sports. It was a really fun time and i think i learned allot that day. Got some great Shots of Shots and Dunks !

Guess i should start off with tell you all who is Mr. Chew, well thats easy, its me!

Born and raised in the once small town of Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico.

Summer of 1986 my family and i moved to Long Beach, CA, where i spent living for most of my life.

And now... now I find myself in the city of Paramount, CA. where i plan to be for as long and God wants me to be here for. this is where i found my Community, my Church, and my Ministry. and if your looking for me, this is where you can.
